I’M SO GLAD I MET JESUS

One of the common thematic threads that runs throughout this album is this concept of getting back to the basics of faith and of worship. We specifically wanted to write a song that felt like a throwback in heart and lyric, but with a completely fresh sound, and all we had was this sentiment - “I’m so glad I met Jesus.” It’s a simple yet profound statement, and it’s been so powerful to declare this as a church and to invite others into the incredible before-and-after process of encountering Jesus. There’s something so powerful about sharing our testimonies as believers and nothing compares to seeing God use our stories to expand the Kingdom. That’s why one of my favorite lyrics on the entire album is: 

Don’t you know that He loves you, He wants you, He’s knocking at your door. He’s calling you over, what are you waiting for?
